A multimedia solo work written and performed by Ugandan American artist Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, A Missionary Position is a searing response to the rampant homophobia now gripping Uganda. Mwine layers raw video footage and photography with riveting portrayals of Ugandan gay prostitutes, gay priests and LGBT activists.
With 143 films from 24 different countries along with exciting panels and parties, this year's festival is not to be missed! Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Outfest continues to showcase, nurture and preserve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender film images and artistry.
