In response to the "Stay at Home" order by the state and, similarly, by local officials, REDCAT is closed to the public. All performances, exhibitions and public events are postponed until further notice.
While we work to schedule a new date for musician, composer, writer and comedian Ahamefule J. While we work to schedule a new date for the world premiere of Rosanna Gamson/World Wide's "Sugar Houses," we were excited to have RGWW take over our social media channels on Saturday, May 23 to share sneak peeks from the piece and behind-the-scenes glimpses at its creation.
** POSTPONED ** Goddesses, is a new ritual theater shamanic experience where ancestral traditions are transmuted through dance, singing, drumming, and electronic soundscapes, with immersive video and stage design, and community participation.
** POSTPONED ** CalArts has a long and rich history of graphic designers producing experimental posters for on-campus visiting artists, exhibitions, music, theater, and dance performances (as well as for REDCAT and Machine Project).
03.12.20- To comply with the overnight directive of the California Department of Public Health and a mandate from the County of Los Angeles, effective today, March 12, 2020, all REDCAT performances are being postponed through May 15, 2020.
