Full Tilt Float
When an alien spaceship hits the moon and knocks it out of its orbit, an eclectic band of earthlings, including guitar-playing zombies and protesting grandmas, deal with the loss of gravity on earth. Told through puppets, animation, illustrative painting and guitars, Full Tilt Float is a product of the collective imagination of the Community Arts Partnership puppetry class at Plaza de la Raza directed by CalArts School of Theater faculty member Susan Simpson, with collaborators Sibyl O’Malley, John Signor, Shannon Scrofano and Torry Bend.
