“Far from a cozy haven, this house throbs with a rave’s raw, bright energy.” – The New York Times
The passionate and high-voltage dance events created by collaborators Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar have firmly established them as potent forces in the international performance community, energizing a new generation of audiences. After gaining global praise with eye-opening works for Batsheva and other eminent dance ensembles, their own acclaimed company, L-E-V, is celebrated for an astute confluence of movement, music, lighting, fashion, art and technology—each uniquely expressive while emotionally entwined. Their electrifying piece HOUSE, a sultry and intoxicating ensemble work set to the driving beats of an original score by Ori Lichtik, is delivered by fiercely talented dancers that move with expressive precision. L-E-V feeds off of emerging technologies and integrates them effortlessly and unobtrusively into cross- disciplinary stagings that could be equally at home at a techno-club or opera house.
