Ulysse Marion

Dimitri Chamblas is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and artistic director. His work has been presented at major institutions such as the Centre Pompidou, Louvre, REDCAT, MOCA, NYU Skirball, Paris Opera, Performa New York, and Tate Modern. He has collaborated with artists including Boris Charmatz, Bret Easton Ellis, William Forsythe, Glen Keane, Benjamin Millepied, Alex Prager, Nile Rodgers, and Claire Tabouret. In 2015, he founded and directed the 3e Scène at the Paris Opera, and in 2017 became Director of Dance at CalArts in Los Angeles. Today, Dimitri Chamblas charts his own path in creation. He brings dance into high-security prisons, as documented in Dancing in A-Yard by Manuela Dalle, creates takemehome with Kim Gordon, stages the 1,000 voices of Crowd Out by David Lang, and develops participatory creations such as Slow Show and fountain worldwide.

Marion Barbeau studied dance at the Paris Opera Ballet School before joining the company in 2008, where she rose through the ranks to become first soloist in 2018. In 2016, she received the Arop Prize for Best Dancer. As a member of the company, she performed soloist roles in classical ballets and contemporary works, collaborating with choreographers such as Hofesh Shechter, Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and Crystal Pite. She was chosen by Cédric Klapisch for the lead role in his film En corps, released in 2022, and subsequently nominated for Most Promising Actress by the César Academy, appeared in the films Un homme en fuite by Baptiste Debraux and Drone by Simon Bouisson, and will be featured in two upcoming films scheduled for early 2026: Gourou by Yann Gozlan and À voix basse by Leyla Bouzid. She is currently working with filmmaker César Vayssié and choreographers Dimitri Chamblas, Boris Charmatz, Alan Lucien Oyen, Daniel Proietto, and Laura Bachman.

Ulysse Zangs is a French artist developing his practice at the intersection of sound, movement, and nature. Trained as a dancer at the Paris Opera Ballet School and later at the Palucca Hochschule für Tanz, he joined the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, where he danced until 2019. Now an independent artist, he collaborates with choreographers and directors including Benjamin Millepied, Philippe Découflé, Dimitri Chamblas, Ersan Mondtag, and Simon Le Borgne, among others. As a musician, he composes soundtracks for dance, performances, and installations. In 2024, he created the scores for Ad Libitum by Simon Le Borgne, 3:33 In my Room through the window by Chris Fargeot, and Grace by Benjamin Millepied, among others. Zangs is also increasingly focused on his own music, having released his first solo project, Idle Hands Or, launched last autumn as an independent work. The album was recorded and self-produced in Normandy between 2022 and 2024.

Pierre Aviat, known as AVIA, is a sound creator capable of composing for films, exhibitions, and performances alike. He released his first EP, All My Jazz, under the pseudonym Avia in 1999 (Catalogue/BMG). In 2002, he began composing his first film scores. From the Oscar-winning feature Les Invasions Barbares by Denys Arcand to documentaries such as Rocco and Relève, AVIA explores a wide range of experiences and styles. He was one of the musicians invited by Xavier Veilhan to represent France at the 2017 Venice Biennale. In 2023, he created the music for the performance Age of Content by the collective (LA)Horde.

Yves Godin is a lighting designer. He has collaborated since the early 1990s with numerous choreographers, including Georges Appaix, Fattoumi & Lamoureux, Rachid Ouramdane, Emmanuelle Huynh, Alain Buffard, Latifa Laâbissi, Boris Charmatz, Olivia Grandville, Dimitri Chamblas, and Gisèle Vienne. His approach focuses on the idea of a light design that is not dependent on dance, music, or text, but can resonate with the other components of the performance. He works along two main axes: the perception of space and time, and the weaving of connections into networks.
